  • “US Court Allows CVOW Work To Resume” • The US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia granted a preliminary injunction to allow Dominion Energy to resume work on the 2600-MW Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project. Dominion Energy said its team will now focus on safely restarting CVOW to ensure that energy is delivered within weeks. [reNews]
  • “Fraunhofer IWES Behind Offshore Assessment Tool” • The WindSCORE project has been launched to develop a 360-degree evaluation system for offshore wind projects over the next three years. Fraunhofer IWES said the EU-backed initiative will create a scientifically based toolbox covering a number of criteria to support investors and stakeholders. [reNews]
  • “India’s Solar Power Surges 55% To Record 28.6 GW In 2025” • India’s utility-scale solar capacity additions soared 55% to 28.6 GW in the 2025 calendar year, a record driven by accelerated project completions and robust open access sector growth.   • “Trump Administration Pushes PJM To Hold ‘Emergency’ Auction To Supply Data Centers” • The Trump administration and a bipartisan group of governors asked the country’s largest wholesale electricity market, the PJM Interconnection, to hold a one-time “emergency” auction to provide data centers with new sources of power.
