Energy Justice Takes Center Stage as Thousands of Home Performance Professionals Gather in Nashville, TN

Green Energy Times Posted on April 5, 2022 by Michelle HarrisonApril 5, 2022

Home and building performance professionals gather in person for the industry’s premier networking
conference and trade show.

Why: Now more than ever, energy and health are top of mind for everyone—and home and building
industry professionals are poised to make a huge difference in both areas. The Building Performance
Association (BPA) mission is to advance a thriving industry that delivers improved energy efficiency,
health, and environmental performance of buildings. Right now, the industry is receiving funding to get
the work done—with goals to ramp up workforce development and lead the charge on equity, diversity,
and inclusion, both in the workforce and in the communities we serve.

What: The BPA’s annual National Home Performance Conference & Trade Show is the industry’s largest
gathering of home performance experts, along with industry leaders, partners, and innovators.
Join us at the conference kickoff where featured speaker, Alliance to Save Energy President Paula Glover
will explore the intersection of home performance and energy justice through the context of workforce
development, energy affordability, and decarbonization.

Who: Building Performance Association (BPA) and host sponsor TVA EnergyRight
When: The conference kickoff will take place Monday, April 11th at 4:15 PM CT; full conference dates
