It’s official, 2015 was the warmest year on record. Climate change is real and it is threatening the Vermont we love, from our ski areas to our lakes. Will you help us do something about it?

The urgency for us to take every sensible action against climate change has never been greater. That is why I am urging that Vermont divests state funds from coal assets, piggy-backing on California’s move to do the same. I am also urging that we divest from ExxonMobil, which for decades knew about the dangerous effects of climate change but withheld that knowledge from the public. Owning coal and ExxonMobil stock is not a business Vermont should be in. Please join me in taking a stand against climate change.
