The Bellows Falls Holiday Farmers’ Market!

On Friday, December 20th, the Bellows Falls Farmers Market is pleased to celebrate our holiday market! The market will be held at the train station from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Join us for last minute holiday shopping, dinner, and caroling.

The holiday market is an opportunity for the people of Bellows Falls and surrounding areas to continue their support of local farmers, artisans and bakers through the winter.

The market will include a diversity of vendors and products, many of which are regulars at the summer Bellows Fall Farmers Market. We also have many new crafters lined up for this market, so come with your shopping list. Grace and Miss Mouse Soaps offers a large variety of hand crafted soaps, Earth Creations offers wire wrapped jewelry, So Berry Clean will offer natural detergents, Sherry Hawkins with specialty herbal products to include lipbalms and salves, and Rachel Ware will have polar fleece hats, aprons, bags and more.

There will also be a selection of canned goodies(which make great VT gifts), fresh breads, cheese, meats, greenhouse greens, pies, dinner and more offered by Harlow Farm, Guerrilla Grown Produce, AlpineGlo Farm, Pumpkin Seeds, J & B Splitrock Farm, Sawyers Cheese, and Orchard Hill Breadworks.

Local farmers certainly benefit from the added income that comes from holiday and winter markets. Increasingly, people are looking for the option to eat locally all year-round. So join us for the market and set your holiday table with food from our local family farms. Be sure to mark your calendars now for the rest of the season. The markets are December 20, January 17, February 21 and March 21.

The farmer’s market accepts both EBT/debit. For additional information about the Bellows Falls Farmer’s Market, or in becoming a vendor, contact market manager Rachel Ware at bellowsfallsmarket@gmail.com or 802-463-2018. Make sure to “like us” on Facebook. (Use this link to like us.)
