Energy Services Field Experiences being offered by PAREI

Friday, August 17th, 2012 – Field Experiences

Attn: Newly trained energy professionals, property managers, building supply employees. Come learn basic building science concepts, and become more familiar with and learn to use specific energy diagnosing equipment.

Take advantage of one of the following Energy Services Field Experiences being offered by the Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative (PAREI).

Come observe or assist a BPI certified Energy Auditor while they conduct a final post-retrofit Blower Door Test at two local homes in Plymouth, New Hampshire:

(First Home)

Steve & Charlene Whitman have conducted several energy improvements on their two-story residential home in Plymouth including significant air sealing and insulating.  The completed efficiency work, which has been calculated to reduce the homes energy usage by three quarters, will be tested in the upcoming Blower Door Test.  Observe and assist the energy auditor with the Blower Door Test and ask about the improvements conducted! When: Friday, August 17th at 5:00pm

(Second Home)

On her one-story ranch, Patsy Kendall conducted significant air sealing and insulating in both her basement and attic.  With this work completed, the Blower Door Test should show dramatic improvements in an already tight house.  Observe and assist the energy auditor with the Blower Door Test and ask about the improvements conducted! When: Friday, August 17th at 6:00pm

The experiences are open to one (1) individual on a first-come-first-serve basis.
